Kailali and Kanchanpur resume services after cutting public holidays
Dhangadhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs has curtailed the previously announced public holidays on Asoj 19 and 20, directing the resumption of public services in light of potential disaster risks.
Following the ministry’s directive, the District Administration Offices of Kailali and Kanchanpur have issued notices announcing the resumption of all services from Monday (Asoj 20).
A notice signed by Administrative Officer Shivaraj Joshi of the District Administration Office, Kailali, stated that all service providers in the district have been instructed to resume service delivery from Monday, in accordance with the Home Ministry’s decision issued on Asoj 19.
Similarly, the District Administration Office, Kanchanpur, has also confirmed that services will resume from Monday, citing that the impact of the disaster has been minimal in the Far Western Province.
In a notice signed by Chief District Officer Laxman Dhakal, the office stated that all services would resume from Monday, Asoj 20, for the convenience of the general public. The notice further urged all government offices, public institutions, banks, and financial institutions in the district to inform their employees promptly and ensure the continuation of regular services.
