Two arrested with heroin in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested two individuals with drugs from Trinagar Barrel in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, Kailali.

According to Nepal Police, the arrested have been identified as 30-year-old Yalsan Chaudhary of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-5 and 19-year-old Parshuram Katharia of Ghodaghodi Municipality-11. They were apprehended on Saturday afternoon.

Police said that during a search of the motorcycle (registration number Sudurpaschim Province 01-001 Pa 2568) driven by Chaudhary, officers recovered one gram and 440 milligrams of brown heroin.

Both individuals were taken into custody along with the motorcycle by the Trinagar Police Post. Police said that further investigation into the case is underway.
