‘Gen Z’ movement urges protesters to return home amid infiltration concerns

Dhangadhi: The ‘Gen G’ movement, actively demonstrating in cities across the country including Kathmandu, has urged all protesters to return home, citing infiltration during the Baneshwor protest.

‘Gen.Jet Nepal’ issued a notice advising participants to safely disperse. The protests escalated after youths gathered at Maitighar from 9 am broke through the restricted area in Baneshwor, prompting police to use water cannons and tear gas. Police also opened fire after protesters entered the Parliament premises. Demonstrations continue in major cities, with more than a dozen fatalities and numerous injuries reported due to gunfire.
