Balmiki inter-school futsal competition to kick off in Dhangadhi from Bhadra 5

Dhangadhi: Balmiki International School, Hasanpur-Dhangadhi, is set to host the “Balmiki Inter-School Futsal Competition-2082” for the first time.

The tournament will take place at the Balmiki Futsal Arena from Bhadra 5 to 7. The school, which has previously organized the SEE Cup twice and the Corporate Championship once, announced that student teams up to class 10 from Dhangadhi and nearby schools will participate. The event will follow standard futsal rules and aims to foster sports-friendly relations among students from various schools.

The winning team will receive Rs 30,000, while the runner-up will take home Rs 20,000, along with trophies, medals, and certificates. Special awards will also be presented to the best player, best goalkeeper, best defender, and highest goal scorer.

Principal Dronashish Neupane stated that the goal is to have at least 16 teams participate. Schools wishing to compete must pay a registration fee of Rs 5,000. The organizers have called on schools, sports enthusiasts, and the media to support and promote the event.
