Elderly woman dead after tree falls in Kailali

Dhangadhi: A 70-year-old woman died after being crushed by a falling tree in Kailali.

The deceased has been identified as Anarkali Chaudhary of Udasipur Betal Tole, Gauriganga Municipality-10.

According to the Area Police Office, Malakheti, Chaudhary was on her way to a toilet about 100 meters from her home on Wednesday when an Asna tree near her house suddenly fell, killing her on the spot.
