Mother and daughter missing from Dhangadhi for a week

Kailali: A woman and her young daughter from Dhangadhi have been missing from their home for the past week, according to family members.

Rudharani Chaudhary, 20, of Simaltol, Manehara, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-7, has been missing along with her five-year-old daughter since last Thursday.

Her mother, Aarti Chaudhary, said Rudharani had been facing physical and mental abuse from her husband, Ghanshyam Chaudhary of Bhajani, Kailali, for a long time. Rudharani had confided about the abuse a month ago, according to Aarti.

She said Rudharani left home taking her daughter’s birth certificate and her citizenship certificate with her. Aarti has filed a missing person complaint with the police and appealed to the public to contact her at 9812628329 if they have any information on her daughter’s whereabouts.
