Dhangadhi: A total of 32 pints of blood were collected during a blood donation program organized by the Bajureli Society Dhangadhi on the occasion of its foundation day.

The program, held on Sunday at the Nepal Red Cross Office in Kailali, saw participation from 28 men and 4 women. Society President Bharat KC said the initiative was undertaken as part of the organization's commitment to social responsibility.

Organizers cited the ongoing shortage of blood in the market as a key reason for launching the drive. Society Secretary Harak Oli described the collection as a highly commendable and successful effort. Youths, health workers, and social activists actively participated in the event.

Marking its 21st anniversary, Bajureli Sewa Samaj continues to engage in various social service activities in Dhangadhi. The organization expressed hope that this campaign would significantly help reduce the risk of loss of life due to blood shortages.
