National Independent Party launches ‘Jana Yatra’ in Far West to strengthen grassroots presence

Dhangadhi: The National Independent Party (NISP) is set to launch a ‘Jana Yatra’ campaign across three districts of the Far West Province—Bajhang, Bajura, and Darchula—with the aim of strengthening its organizational structure and expanding public outreach.
This decision was made during a meeting held in Dhangadhi on Tuesday, chaired by Provincial President E. Prakash Bist and attended by Province In-charge, Central Member, and Member of Parliament Hari Dhakal. The party selected the Himalayan districts as the focus of the first phase of its campaign.

Framed as the beginning of a new political direction, the campaign is rooted in democratic values and norms. The NISP expressed confidence that it will establish a strong presence in the region through direct engagement and dialogue with citizens.

The meeting also resolved to develop an annual calendar for all level committees and to provide training to cadres, aiming to create a more structured and effective organization. As part of this broader effort, special programs will also be launched in Kailali, Kanchanpur, and Dadeldhura districts to further strengthen the party's regional presence.
The party emphasized that its strategy is focused on enhancing credibility and influence through organizational discipline and ideological clarity, as per a statement issued by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
