Man attacked with Khukuri over dispute at local hotel In Kanchanpur, a violent incident occurred involving two men.

On September 15, 2024, 32-year-old Tilak Pandey from Belauri Municipality-2 attacked 30-year-old Prem Tamang from Punarwas Municipality-1 with a Khukuri.

The altercation happened during a dispute at a local hotel where Pandey works, and Tamang was a customer. Following the attack, Tamang sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at BN Polyclinic in Punarwas-3. Pandey, attempting to flee to India, was apprehended by police near the border. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
