Far Western Province government determines four bases for budgeting
Dhangadhi: The Far Western Province government has determined four bases for budgeting.
The provincial government, which is preparing the budget for the current financial year, has decided on four bases for budgeting. Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah today (Monday) held a press conference with the ministers of the government and announced four bases of budget formulation.
Chief Minister Shah issued a statement and said that the provincial government will allocate the budget by maintaining a ceiling of more than 2.5 million. Based on the need and legitimacy, if the budget is less than 2.5 million, it will be transferred to the local level in the form of a conditional grant with an action plan.
It is stated in the release that no budget will be allotted to individuals, groups, organizations, private firms, companies and cooperatives from the state government. Also, Chief Minister Shah said that any plan implemented by the provincial government will be implemented through the consumer committee.
Previous governments have been allocating up to 50,000 budgets and the work has also been done through consumer committees. But Chief Minister Shah has claimed that he will not work through the consumer committee. The previous government used to allocate budget to individuals, groups, organizations, private firms, companies and cooperatives.
