A 61-year-old man arrested for assaulting a 12-year-old

Kanchanpur: One person has been arrested in Kanchanpur on charges of rape.

A 61-year-old man from Belauri Bhakunda was arrested on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. According to the police, Ramgyan Chaudhary of Belauri municipality-5 Bhakunda was arrested after receiving a complaint against him for child molestation.

District Police Office Kanchanpur spokesperson Umesh Joshi said that Chaudhary was arrested from Belauri after a complaint was lodged with the police against the old man.
