Woman from Godavari Missing for Five Days; Concerns Mount in Kailali

Dhangadhi: Concerns have escalated in Kailali as a married woman from Godavari Municipality-5 Varabatta has been missing for five days.

Sunita Periyar, residing in Godavari, has been out of contact since February 21st, causing distress among her family members. Her husband, Ganesh Pariyar, expressed his worry, stating that despite reporting her disappearance to the authorities, she has not been located.

Vinod Pariyar, Sunita's father-in-law, shared that she had left the house around 9 pm to use the restroom but did not return. He recounted searching the village throughout the night in vain for any sign of her whereabouts. Vinod further disclosed that Sunita's husband, currently in India, returned home upon learning of her disappearance. Sunita, a mother of four children, remains unaccounted for, intensifying concerns among her family and community members.
