Dharma-Pashupati Memorial Open Badminton Tournament Set to Kick Off in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: The eagerly awaited Dharmadev Pashupati Memorial Second Open National Badminton Tournament 2080 is poised to take place in Dhangadhi, Kailali.
Scheduled to commence from February 11th, the tournament is being organized by the Police Public Badminton Club. Chetraj Joshi, President of the Police Public Badminton Club, announced that the event will unfold over three days, spanning from February 11th to the 13th, at the badminton hall situated within the provincial police office premises. The tournament will feature three categories: Open Doubles, 45 Plus Veteran, and 55 Plus Veteran.
The victors across all categories will be awarded substantial cash prizes amounting to a total of 249,000. Chairman Joshi outlined the prize distribution scheme, indicating that the winners of the Open Doubles category will receive 61,000 for the first prize, 41,000 for the second prize, and 31,000 for the third prize, alongside medals and trophies. Similarly, in the 45 Plus Veteran category, the first-place winner will be granted 41,000, the second-place winner 31,000, and the third-place winner 21,000. Likewise, in the 55 Plus Veteran category, the first-place winner will receive 11,000, the second-place winner 7,000, and the third-place winner 5,000.
