Nepali Congress MP Leads Health Team to Conduct Free Health Camp in Far West
Dadeldhura: Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, Member of Parliament from Nepali Congress, has arrived in Sudurpaschim Province along with a team of healthcare professionals for a humanitarian mission.
MP Sharma, accompanied by the healthcare team from Kathmandu Medical College Public Limited, has initiated a free health camp in Sudurpaschim Province. Notably, a health camp has been organized in Dadeldhura on Thursday (today), with the support of Amargadhi Municipality, where a significant number of patients have been provided medical assistance.
Narayan Dahal, Manager of KMC, reported that the camp held at Dadeldhura District Hospital catered to 2,527 patients. The services offered included ECG for 147 individuals, lab tests for 213 patients, ultrasound examinations for 195 individuals, and echo services for 83 patients. Additionally, dental services were provided to 77 individuals, and 144 patients have been referred for surgical procedures, which will be carried out free of cost.
This initiative underscores the commitment of MP Sharma and his team to address healthcare needs and provide essential medical services to the people of Sudurpaschim Province.
