Grand Opening of "Belauri Mustard Oil Industry" Boosts Local Economy in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: A significant milestone was achieved with the inauguration of the "Belauri Mustard Oil Branding, Leveling, and Packaging Industry" in Belauri Municipality-4, Kanchanpur. The industry, established with a collaborative investment of 15 lakhs from the municipality, 10 lakhs from the Center for Crop Development and Agricultural Biodiversity Conservation, and 5 lakhs from a multi-purpose cooperative, marks the beginning of a new era for local economic development.

Mayor Potilal Chaudhary, expressing his enthusiasm, outlined the industry's commitment to producing and selling pure mustard oil by sourcing raw materials directly from local farmers. Operated through cooperatives, the industry has a daily production capacity of 500 liters of high-quality mustard oil.

The grand inauguration ceremony, held on Monday, was graced by Bhim Bahadur Bhandari, the Speaker of the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly. The opening of the Belauri Mustard Oil Industry is not only a testament to the region's agricultural prowess but also a positive step towards promoting local entrepreneurship and self-sufficiency.
