Woman Succumbs to Injuries Following a Fall

Baitadi: In a somber incident in Baitadi, 38-year-old Toladevi Mahata from Shivnath Rural Municipality-2 Sharmali has tragically lost her life after sustaining injuries from a fall. The District Police Office Baitadi confirmed the unfortunate demise, with Police Inspector Khemvikram KC providing details of the incident.

On Friday, Mahata, who was en route from her residence to a location known as Dhankot, suffered a fall resulting in a severe head injury. After receiving initial treatment at a local health institution, she was subsequently transported to Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi via Dadeldhura Hospital for further medical attention.

Regrettably, Toladevi Mahata's condition deteriorated, and she passed away during treatment around 12 o'clock on Saturday night. The community mourns the loss of a fellow resident, and local authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
