Postponement of Far West Investment Conference Declared by Sudurpaschim Province Government
Dhangadhi: The eagerly anticipated investment and development conference, originally scheduled by the Sudurpaschim Province government for March 6 and 7, has been officially postponed.
In a meeting convened on January 26, the Chief Minister and the Council unanimously decided to defer the conference temporarily, citing insufficient preparations as the primary reason for the delay. Despite the decision made during the meeting, the state government has yet to make an official announcement regarding the postponement.
Nrip Sunar, a member of the executive committee responsible for the conference, disclosed that, owing to the lack of readiness, the new dates for the event have been rescheduled to October 7 and 8, 2024. This decision aims to ensure adequate preparations are made to facilitate a successful and impactful investment and development conference in the Far West region.
