Tragic Electrocution Incident in Baitadi Claims Injury to 50-Year-Old Man

Baitadi: A distressing incident unfolded in Baitadi as 50-year-old Shailendra Dhanuk, a resident of Purchoudi Municipality-6, fell victim to an electric shock, resulting in serious injuries.

The unfortunate event occurred today, Wednesday, at approximately 10 am when Dhanuk was electrocuted while engaged in the task of pulling a power line in Dora Tol, Surnaya Rural Municipality-8. Nandaraj Joshi, the Police Spokesperson of the District Police Office in Baitadi, reported that the incident transpired as Dhanuk was ascending a pole to carry out his duties.

During the execution of his responsibilities, Dhanuk experienced a severe electric shock on his right hand, causing him to lose control and fall to the ground. Prompt response from local authorities ensured that Dhanuk was swiftly transported to Dadeldhura for necessary medical treatment.
