Sudurpaschim Pradesh Assembly Gears Up for Winter Session Starting Today

Dhangadhi: The commencement of the third session of the Sudurpaschim Pradesh Assembly is scheduled for Friday.

The provincial assembly secretariat has announced that the session will convene at 2 pm. The preceding first and second sessions concluded without conducting any legislative business. As the third session unfolds, there is an anticipation of addressing pending matters.

Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari noted, "The government has yet to submit any bills, and it appears that the communication from the head of state calling for the meeting will be read." With no other official agenda, leaders from major political parties are slated to offer congratulatory remarks during the session. Members of the provincial assembly have voiced concerns, criticizing the government for the lack of legislative activities since the inception of the assembly.
