Fugitive Apprehended in Kanchanpur Vehicular Homicide Case

Kanchanpur: In a significant development, the fugitive defendant involved in a vehicular manslaughter case has been apprehended in Kanchanpur. Mohan Khadka, a resident of Bedkot Municipality-3 within the district, was taken into custody on Wednesday. Khadka had been convicted by the court and subsequently evaded the authorities for a period of 13 days.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Dangi, serving as the Information Officer of the District Police Office Kanchanpur, confirmed that Mohan Khadka was arrested at his residence. Following his arrest, the court ordered him to be remanded in jail on Thursday, where he will serve the prescribed sentence.
