Kanchanpur: Authorities have successfully confiscated smuggled goods involved in customs evasion activities in Kanchanpur.

Law enforcement agencies, in a recent operation, apprehended an illicit consignment of peas with an estimated value of approximately Rs. 17,000. This seizure took place within Bhimdatta Municipality-11, specifically at Chowkisatta Bhairal Road.

Additionally, during a routine patrol on Sunday evening, a vigilant police team made a substantial discovery in Kathepul, Belauri Municipality-6. They uncovered an assortment of retail items, including sugar, flour, and oil, collectively valued at approximately Rs. 46,100.

These operations signify a commendable effort by local authorities to combat customs evasion and uphold the integrity of trade regulations in the region.
