Invitation for Contract: Sale and Distribution of River Products by Godavari Municipality
Dhangadhi: The Godavari Municipality has initiated a call for contract proposals pertaining to the sale and distribution of river products within its jurisdiction.
In an official announcement dated August 6th, bids are being solicited for the fiscal year 2080-81 BS. The focal point of this contract lies along the main river Khutia, flowing through the municipality. The stipulated base amount for this endeavor has been set at Rs. 88,670,728, accompanied by a security deposit requirement of Rs. 4,950,000. As outlined in the released notification, the successful contractor will be obligated to disburse this sum to the municipality in three predetermined installments subsequent to the contract's approval.
Within the ambit of this contract, ten designated sites have been earmarked for the collection of river products from the Khutia river. Correspondingly, the municipality has also extended the bid invitation to encompass two additional rivers, namely Godavari and Khairana. For the comprehensive extraction of river products from both these water bodies, a collective baseline amount of Rs. 4 crore has been prescribed.
