Jyoti Bikas Bank Supports 'Harit Dhangadhi' with NPR 50,000
Dhangadhi: In a significant move towards promoting environmental sustainability, Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited, Dhangadhi, has contributed NPR 50,000 to the 'Harit Dhangadhi' initiative. The financial support is intended to bolster the green promotion program led by the Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city.
As part of their 15th-anniversary celebration, Jyoti Bikas Bank extended its support to the 'Harit Dhangadhi' program. A team led by the Dhangadhi branch manager, Mr. Govind Bohara, presented the funds to the Chief of the city, Mr. Gopal Hamal, and Deputy Chief, Ms. Kandakala Rana.
To facilitate 'Green Dhangadhi,' the sub-metropolitan city has established a green promotion fund, whereby organizations and individuals can contribute Rs. 5,000 and have their names engraved on the plant's tri-guard.
The Deputy Metropolitan Municipality has urged contributors to transfer their donations to account number 4170100305010002 at Rashtriya Varnijya Bank, Dhangadhi. A concerted fund collection campaign has been launched, with the ultimate goal of utilizing the accumulated funds to plant a greater number of saplings, furthering the cause of environmental conservation.
