Tragic Incident in Bajura Claims the Life of a Woman Swept Away by River

Bajura: Khaptad Chededah Rural Municipality, witnessed a devastating incident resulting in the untimely demise of a woman. Sangita Bogti, a resident of Rural Municipality-4, Gwani, met with a fatal accident when she was swept away by the powerful currents of the Barjugad river. This unfortunate incident occurred in the vicinity of Ward No. 3 and 4.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Kavindrasingh Bohra from the Bajura District Police Office confirmed the incident. It was revealed that Ms. Bogti, while on her way back home from Martadi, tragically lost her life while attempting to cross the river. Her lifeless body was discovered approximately 20 meters downstream. Upon receiving reports from local residents about the woman's disappearance in the river, a dedicated team of police officers promptly initiated a search operation, which regrettably culminated in the discovery of her deceased body.
