Customs Evaded Goods Confiscated in Kanchanpur
Kanchanpur: Authorities in Kanchanpur have successfully confiscated a range of goods involved in customs evasion. On Wednesday, the police intercepted a significant haul of illicit items, including sugar, jaggery, beverages, and edible oil, valued at approximately Rs. 24,600. This seizure took place at Baijudada and Baishakha Chowk in Belauri Municipality-2, within the district.
In a separate operation conducted in Bhimdatta Municipality-10 Gaddachouki, the police managed to seize sugar, flour, and biscuits valued at around Rs. 12,800, which were also part of a customs evasion scheme. The diligent efforts of the police team deployed from various law enforcement agencies, including Sudurpaschim Province Police Office Dhangadhi, Area Police Office Belauri, Police Station Teduwa, and Area Police Office Gaddachouki, led to the successful discovery and confiscation of these contraband items.
