UML Appoints Chief Whip and Whip for Far West Region

Dhangadhi: The CPN-UML, the primary opposition party, has successfully chosen its chief whip and whip during a gathering held by the Far West Parliamentary Party. Surendra Pal has been elected as the Chief Whip, while Nirmala Devi Saud assumes the role of Whip.

During the parliamentary party meeting on Sunday, Pal, who secured his position in the November 20 (Mangshir 4) elections as a representative from Baitadi State Assembly 1, emerged as the preferred choice for the crucial position of chief whip. He concurrently holds the esteemed position of President of the UML Baitadi District Committee.

Saud, on the other hand, has been elected as a whip and secured her seat in the state assembly from Doti through the proportional representation system.

The selection of Pal as chief whip and Saud as whip marks a significant development within the UML's hierarchy, enhancing their representation and leadership in the Far West region.
