Former king Gyanendra arrived in Dhangadhi
Dhangadhi: Former King Gyanendra Shah, accompanied by his family, has arrived in Dhangadhi as part of his visit to the Far West region.
During his stay, a civic felicitation event honoring the former king will take place in Dhangadhi tomorrow. To organize this citizen appreciation ceremony, a dedicated 1,001-member committee has been established, led by former minister Jayant Chand. Lalit Joshi, the communication coordinator for the Citizen Appreciation Ceremony, expressed that the committee's formation aims to ensure a well-coordinated and memorable event.
Joshi further revealed that the grand ceremony will be held at the covered hall in Dhangadhi, where citizens will have the opportunity to extend their appreciation to the former king. Today, the royal family arrived in Dhangadhi to warmly greet the local community. It is worth noting that all members of the royal family, with the exception of former crown prince Paras Shah, are present for the visit to Dhangadhi.
