Vedkot Municipality in Kanchanpur Implements Land Classification for Effective Land Management

Kanchanpur: The Vedkot Municipality of Kanchanpur has initiated the process of land classification, adhering to the prevailing land use regulations. In a program organized by the Somwar municipality, the classification details as per the land use list were handed over to the Land Registry Office and the Surveyor's Office.

During the program, the City Chief, Bhojraj Bohra, presented the land classification details and the map to Tej Bahadur Chand, the Head of the Land and Property Office, Kanchanpur, and Pushkar Raj Pal, the Head of the Survey Office, Kanchanpur. The land has been classified into 10 zones, including residential, commercial, and agricultural zones.

Mr. Bohara emphasized the significance of this classification process and stated that it would provide a comprehensive understanding of the land distribution in the region, facilitating better planning and utilization. The move has been appreciated by the local authorities and is expected to pave the way for efficient land management practices in the future.
