Possible light rain expected in select hilly regions of Nepal, while Cyclone Mokha stays clear
Dhangadhi: The Weather Forecast Division reports a potential for temporary or light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in select hilly regions of Nepal today. These areas include Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Koshi Province. The rest of the country will generally see clear skies, with some partial changes in the hilly regions throughout the day. Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province may experience partly cloudy conditions during the afternoon, followed by clear skies at night.
The current weather patterns are influenced by local winds, with Cyclone "Mokha" developing in the Bay of Bengal, which has transformed into a potent cyclone. While the cyclone heads north-northeast and approaches the coastal areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar, Nepal is expected to remain largely unaffected, according to the division's analysis.
