Doti launches campaign to enroll out-of-school children, offers rewards for information

Doti: The Social Development Office in Doti has launched a campaign to enroll children of school age who have not been able to attend school. To incentivize participation, the office is offering rewards to those who provide information about such children in their community. 

Jaidev Mahara, the head of the office, has urged community members to report the names of children who are not enrolled in school, along with their parents' names, addresses, and reasons for not attending school, to the nearest school, ward office, municipality, education development and coordination unit, or social development office. 

The campaign, which began with the slogan "Enrollment on time, knowledge on time: campaign for quality education for all," aims to ensure that all children have access to education in the academic session of 2080 BS.
