KS Construction entrusted with the construction of the main road of Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: KS Construction will be entrusted with the construction of Dhangadhi's main road.

According to Kailali, the infrastructure office under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of the Far West, KS Construction got the contract for the construction of the road. A contract has been opened for the construction of tarred road from Kailali Bridge in Dhangadhi to Campus Road, Hulaki Highway.

Rajchandra Khatri, Acting Head of Infrastructure Office, Kailali, said that KS Construction got the road construction contract for Rs. 51.5 crore. But no agreement was reached. According to the Infrastructure Office, the contract for road construction is being prepared with KS. Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city had cleared the physical structure of 15 meters on the right and 15 meters on the left for the widening of the main road. At the request of the sub-metropolitan city, 428 physical structures within an area of 2.300 meters were evacuated. The house owners are continuing to clear the structure.

In order to solve the problem of traffic jams in Dhangadhi, the sub-metropolis had requested a budget from the state government for the construction of a wide road. The main road from Dhangadhi intersection to Kailali bridge is being paved by regional urban development.
