Darchula: Rape accused arrested in Darchula.

Police said that 49-year-old Bisan Thagunna of Shailyashikhar Municipality-4 Kanapari, who was absconding after raping the girl, was arrested on Thursday after 8 days. District Police Office Darchula Spokesperson Police Inspector Gyanendra Singh said that he was absconding after forcing a 16-year-old girl and was arrested on Thursday.

Accused Thagunna forced the village girl who was in a depressed state on 29th Chaitra, 2079 BS, and then the victim's family filed a complaint with the police on 1st Baisakh. Thagunna was arrested from Bangabgad of the headquarters by a police team deployed from District Police Office Darchula.
