Dhangadhi Park Charges Visitors More Than Approved Entry Fee
Dhangadhi: The Dasharath Bhim Udyan (Park) in Dhangadhi has reportedly been charging visitors an entry fee that exceeds the rate set by the Municipal Assembly. According to the City Council of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, the provincial fee for entry to the park is 10 rupees for locals, 40 rupees for foreign nationals, and 20 rupees for photography cameras, while video cameras and films cost 400 rupees and 500 rupees respectively.
However, a report from the Auditor General has revealed that natives are being charged 25 rupees for entry. The Chief Accountant has instructed the Deputy Metropolitan Municipality to take action against companies that charge more than the rates established by the City Council.
