A youth dies in a motorcycle accident

Mahottari: A tragic accident on the East-West highway in Bardibas has left a motorcyclist dead after a collision with a vehicle. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Manish Karki from Gaushala municipality, according to police reports.

The incident occurred when a motorcycle with license plate number P.2 04-001 P 1327 and a winger vehicle with license plate number P.3 03-001 J 0297 collided while traveling in opposite directions. Karki sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to Subhaswastik Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately passed away due to the severity of his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as Niraj Lama from Sarlahi Hariwan, has been arrested by the police for further investigation into the cause of the accident. Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijay Yadav provided updates on the tragic incident, expressing condolences to Karki's family and urging drivers to exercise caution and follow traffic regulations to prevent such tragedies from occurring.
