Covid infection increases in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: After the corona infection began to appear, the vaccination process has also started. Now senior citizens, healthcare workers, pregnant women and those with reduced immunity have been given booster doses of vaccination.

According to Janak Kunwar, Cold Chain Officer of District Health Office, Kanchanpur, 50,000 quantities of Pfizer have arrived for booster doses. In the first phase, people over 55 years of age, health workers and others will be vaccinated. Kunwar said that a vaccination campaign is being conducted in all the wards of the district.

"The number of vaccinations will increase according to the need," he said, "those who have received two vaccinations will be given the third and those who have received three vaccinations will be given the fourth." After the infection started to increase, the vaccination campaign was started again. According to the health desk at Gaddachowki on the border of Kanchanpur, six people have been infected in the last one week.
