Khagraj Bhatta appointed as the Spokesperson of the Far-West Government
Dhangadhi: Leader of the Maoist Central Parliamentary Party and minister of the province Khagraj Bhatta has been given the responsibility of spokesperson of the Far-West government. The first meeting of the Provincial Council of Ministers decided to give Minister Bhatt the responsibility of spokesperson.
Announcing the decisions of the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Spokesman Bhatta said that it was decided that the state government will formulate the government reform action plan 2079 and that the action plan will be coordinated by the chief secretary and a task force will be formed and the secretaries of all ministries will be members.`
Decisions of the first meeting
1) The responsibility has been assigned to the spokesperson of the province, Honorable Minister Khagraj Bhatta.
2) Sudurpaschim Province Government to formulate Province Government Governance Reforms Action Plan- 2079 BS. Under the coordination of the chief secretary of the action plan, a working group consisting of the secretaries of all the ministries will be formed and given the mandate.
3) To provide theoretical consent for the formulation of laws to determine local level service formation, operation and service conditions.
4) In order to promote good governance in the province, a working group under the coordination of the Secretary (Law) of the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers will be formed and directed to submit a report within 30 days.
5) To direct all the ministry agencies to identify and implement the improvement measures that need to be taken immediately to make the services provided by the province more people-oriented, hassle-free and quality-oriented.
6) To instruct the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development and Economic Affairs to study and submit a proposal to the Council of Ministers regarding the provision of electricity tariff discounts and other facilities that can be provided to common citizens on behalf of the provincial government.
Decisions of the second meeting
1) Provide information and recommendations regarding the preparation of supplementary and special grants to be made by the state government with the federal government
2) For the implementation of various projects included in the list under the innovation partnership fund of the provincial program implementation unit of PLGPS for the current financial year 079 and 80, the amount received from the innovation partnership fund will be transferred to the respective local level as a conditional grant according to the fund flow arrangements of the Government of Nepal.
3) Due to the fact that some opinions, expressions and activities expressed against the implementation of Paschim Seti project, which is a project of national pride, have drawn serious attention to the provincial government, they issued a press release to inform the general public.
