Rawal submits a claim to be the Chief Minister with the support of Nagrik Unmukti Party

Dhangadhi: CPN-UML parliamentary party leader Rajendrasingh Rawal has submitted a claim for the post of Chief Minister of the Far-West Province government. Rawal submitted his claim to the Chief Minister on Wednesday with the support of the CPN-Maoist Center parliamentary party leader Khagraj Bhatta, Nagrik Unmukti Party and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

With the submission of Rawal's claim to the position of Chief Minister, it has been confirmed that a coalition government of CPN-UML, Maoist Center, Nagrik Unmukti Party and RPP will be formed in Far-West Province as well. The ruling coalition will have the support of 29 provincial assembly members.

In the alliance, there are 11 members of the CPN Maoist Center, 10 members of the CPN UML, 7 members of Nagrik Unmukti Party and 1 member of the RPP.

Earlier, the state chief had given time till Wednesday to the parties to submit their claims to the Chief Minister. With the submission of the claim on Wednesday, it is certain that Rawal from Kanchanpur will be appointed as the second Chief Minister of the province.
