Nepali Congress in Sudurpaschim to charge candidates 25,000 for their party leader election
Dhangadhi: A fee of 25,000 has been fixed for the Far-West Parliamentary Party of Nepali Congress candidate. A cost of 25,000 has been fixed for the candidates in the Congress parliamentary party leader election to be held in Dhangadhi today. According to the state working committee of the Congress, the election will be held on Wednesday (today) from 4 to 5 pm after the party leader cannot be selected unanimously.
According to the election committee, Provincial Deputy Chairman Lokraj Awasthi Coordinator, Deputy Chairman Janakraj Chaudhary, General Minister Narnarayan Shah (Manu), and Congress provincial members Surat Rawat (Doteli Kancha) and Ram Bahadur Deuba are members of the committee. Seven provincial assembly members of the Nepali Congress have expressed their desire for a party leader. Provincial Assembly members Bahadursingh Thapa, Diwansingh Bista, Kamal Bahadur Shah, Prakash Bahadur Deuba, and Meghraj Khadka have shown interest in being the leader of the Congress parliamentary party. Congress state member Surat Rawat (Doteli Kancha) said that the election will be held today as there is no agreement between them. Congress has 19 provincial assembly members in Far-West. Congress is the largest party in the state assembly. Tuesday's meeting was inconclusive.
