Kathmandu metropolitan donates 10 lakhs to Doti earthquake victims
Dhangadhi: Kathmandu Metropolitan City has provided financial support to the earthquake victims of Doti. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has provided Rs 10 lakh to the families whose houses collapsed due to the earthquake in Doti. 3800 homes were destroyed by the 6.6 Richter scale earthquake in Doti on 23rd Kartik.
After receiving a request for assistance for the earthquake victims of Doti in the metropolitan, the municipality has been given 10 lakhs from the disaster management budget to the rural city. He said through Facebook, "The demolition of an unauthorized tower in Kathmandu makes national news, but the demolition of 3800 houses due to the Doti earthquake is not even considered newsworthy."
He has written, "A man has died in a leopard attack since the earthquake he was living under a straw hut." The fear of leopards is spreading, and the month of Pusha has already started. Winter is here and the place also experiences snowfall. Winter will be harsher on people without houses. He also requested the initiative of the state machinery, relevant ministries, MPs, governmental non-governmental organizations, and individuals to support the earthquake victims of Doti.
