Inaugurating the Namaste Mayor greviences hearing service, Hamal, the mayor of Dhangadhi, said that everyone's cooperation is necessary to make Dhangadhi free from corruption. He also said that he is confident that everyone will support the desire to make the city corruption-free by speedily utilising the services provided by the sub-metropolitan city. Mayor Hamal said, "I issued a number to receive complaints the day I was appointed. I had requested the locals to complain about anyone involved in corruption. Fortunately, we have received no complaints in regard to corruption, I have the same government employees who were present in the last term but none have been involved in corruption, so it reflects that the person with authority must not be corrupt. If the person with authority remains corruption free it's harder for the subordinates to indulge."
He said I have decided to make Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city a corruption-free city by providing fast services with the help of the Namaste Mayor app." The sub-metropolitan has informed that arrangements have been made to quickly address the complaints raised by the public through the Grievance Hearing Service. Before starting the public complaint hearing service, a rally against corruption was also taken out from Dhangadhi intersection to the sub-metropolitan office area.
