Chakra Malla elected as a provincial member in Doti-1
Dhangadhi: CPN-UML candidate Chakra Malla has won in Doti State Assembly '1'. Malla won by defeating the common candidate of the Democratic Left Alliance, Narendra Bahadur Singh, by 450 votes.
Malla, who is also the district president of CPN-UML, got 15,279 votes while Singh, the nearest rival candidate of Nepali Congress, got 14,829 votes.
Our Nepal Party's Shailendra Khadka got 540 votes and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party's Netra Nath got 755 votes. 33 thousand 322 votes were cast in province '1'. In which 1 thousand 919 votes have been invalidated.
