A group of youths enters Lekhraj Bhatta’s house and threatens him
Dhangadhi: An unknown group has threatened to kill Lekhraj Bhatta, who is also the former minister, Central Secretary of CPN-UML, and in charge of UML Far-West. On Tuesday morning, a group entered Bhatta's house in Attaria, Godawari municipality, and threatened him.
Bhatta said that when he was not at home when an unknown group threatened his family members by reaching his private residence in Attaria. According to Bhatta, more than half a dozen youths from an unknown group entered the house. They entered the house and asked where is the (former) minister. Bhatta claims that his family members in the house were harassed.
"When was not at home at 8 o'clock in the morning, they came and asked, where is he? When will he come home?" The minister told Dinesh Khabar. "This incident happened when I was in Dhangadhi. I have requested security from the police administration.”
Lekhraj Bhatta is also a candidate for Member of the House of Representatives from Region No. 4. Here he has taken the lead in the counting of votes so far. He is being followed by Bir Bahadur Balayer of the Nepali Congress.
