Bajura Incident: The bodies of the deceased are yet to be recovered

Dhangadhi: The bodies of two people who died in a dispute at Nateshwari Basic School polling station in Triveni Municipality 7 of Bajura have not yet been recovered. Sanjeev Ayadi and Chetan Ayadi of Triveni (7) were killed by security personnel after tension arose at the polling station.

Sanjeev's body is in Natyashwari school while Chetan's body is in Bayalpata hospital. Chetan is the local leader of Aneraswaviyu. He died on the way while being taken to Wayalpata Hospital in Achham. The police opened fire after a dispute broke out when a Congress worker tried to snatch the ballot box.

Sanjeev was shot in the chest and died on the spot. After Sanjeev's death, the Congress workers, got impulsive and went to Chetan's house and beat him up.

Three people including police constable Krishna Kunwar were injured in the clash at the polling station. Locals Parshuram Padhyaya and Khadak Ayadi are among the injured. According to Chief District Officer Prakash Chandra Adhikari, efforts are being made to pick up the body and it will be released on Tuesday.
