The Nagrik Unmukti Party candidates lead in Kailali-1
Dhangadhi: The Nagrik Unmukti Party candidates are leading in Kailali Constituency No. 1. While Ranjita Chaudhary of the Nagrik Unmukti Party is leading as a member of the House of Representatives, the candidate of the same party is leading in the province as well.
Kailash Chaudhary of Nagrik Unmukti Party is leading with 713 votes while 1 thousand 861 votes were counted in State Assembly 1 in Constituency No. 1 of the district. He is being followed by the candidate of the ruling coalition, the Maoist Center's Dilgraj Binadi with 559 votes.
Lakshman Kishore Chaudhary of Nagrik Unmukti Party is also leading in the State Assembly (2). While 1,516 votes were counted, Chaudhary has 713 votes. He is being followed by Dr. Ran Bahadur Rawal of Congress, the candidate of the ruling coalition, with 412 votes.
Rawal is the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of the Far-West. Rawal was also the leader of the Congress parliamentary party, which had won against the left alliance in the previous election. Dwarika Prasad Neupane of UML has only 226 votes.
