Dhangadhi: The counting of votes for Kailali Constituency No-5 will commence at 8 am on Tuesday (tomorrow). According to the decision passed in an all-party meeting, the counting of votes will start at 8 am tomorrow.

 

 

Prem Bhatta, head of District Election Office Kailali, said that the counting will commence tomorrow as decided by the parties and the Election Commission. The counting has been delayed as the Chief Election Officer Om Prasad Aryal has taken ill.

 

It is said that he fell ill due to the hustle and bustle while conducting elections. Aryal who is a chronic patient with blood pressure was unable to handle the load of election and succumbed to health complications. In Kailali-5, 11 people including Dilliraj Pant of Congress, Naradmuni Rana of UML, and independent candidate Pushkarnath Ojha are contesting from the ruling coalition.
