Sagar Dhakal fasting for three days during the silence period
Dadeldhura: Sagar Dhakal, who has contested as an independent candidate in Dadeldhura, has announced that he will fast for three days. By releasing a video message on Thursday night, he announced that he would fast for three days in the name of the people of Dadeldhura.
"Now I am fasting for three days starting from tomorrow. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow there is a period of silence. Nicobarese election day. I am fasting for three days in the name of you without eating fruits or food," he said in a video message. "I have vowed to stay hungry with some goal in mind." Sagar has mentioned that there is a religious and scientific reason for fasting. He also requested the people of Dadeldhura to vote properly on November 20 (Mangshir 4).
Sagar, an engineer from Gulmi, has come here to contest elections with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Here there is competition between Deuba, Sagar and Karna Malla of BP Congress and independent Bikram Shahi.
