Wheat seeds are being distributed to influence voters in Kailari

Dhangadhi: It has been alleged that distribution of wheat seeds has been started to influence the voters in Kailari village of Kailali. According to the plan of four lakhs of the rural municipality, the distribution of wheat seeds has been started in the office of ward number 8.

President Ichcha Chaudhary said that the ward office has started distributing wheat seeds in collaboration with Vanadevi Agricultural Urban Society. According to him, the rural municipality has given a 50% subsidy on wheat seeds. 50 percent is the amount of agricultural cooperatives. There is a program to distribute one hundred and 43 wheat seeds of 40 kg from the ward office. Only 12 days ago, an agreement was reached between the cooperative and the rural municipality for the distribution of wheat seeds.

On the other hand, Chairman of Kailari Rural Municipality Raj Samaj Chaudhary claimed that the plan is old. He said that money has been sent to all ward offices for the distribution of wheat seeds. He claims that there is no plan to influence voters. He claims that he has given seeds because it is late to sow wheat.

The rural municipality has distributed subsidized wheat seeds when there are only five days left for the election of provincial and representative assembly members.
