7-year-old Ritika from Bajura, participating in the 9th National Games

Dhangadhi: The ninth national sports competition is underway in Pokhara. Ritika Bhumi is the youngest player among more than 6000 players participating in the tournament. She has represented the Far West in swimming and participated in national sports competitions.

Her relatives said that Ritika, who is studying in class 4, is also good at swimming along with her studies. She was selected after 36 people from the state, who had a moderate performance in the ninth National Games.

She has said, "I want to be like Gaurika Singh and introduce the country to the international level by participating in international games." Gaurika from Far West is also an athlete who has succeeded in earning a name in the international level in swimming.
