Blocked K.I Singh Highway in operation

Dhangadhi: The K.I Singh Highway, which has been blocked since Gayrati in Doti, has become operational.

After Amar Malla of Shikhar Municipality Ward No. 6 Luwakhodi was found dead, his relatives had blocked the highway since Gayarati day of Dashain saying that he was murdered.

His body was found under the Luwakhodi bridge on October 2nd (Ashoj 16th). Locals blocked the road saying that the police did not investigate the incident. Passengers going to and from Doti, Acham and Bajura were stranded as the highway was blocked.

According to Doti police, one person has been arrested. Today, after an agreement between the family of Malla and the police, the blocked road has been put into operation.
