Darchula Floods: Holidays in Educational Institutions

Dhangadhi: The flood that occurred in Darchula on the night of 9th septemebr (24th Bhadra) has devastated Bangabagad. The flood has killed five people. 10 people are missing. Similarly, 8 people were injured.

Now all the educational institutions of the district are involved in the rescue work. Today Mahakali municipality issued a statement of condolence and gave a holiday to educational institutions for one day.

Rather than celebrating the mourning holiday, the principal of Mahendra Model Secondary School, including the teachers, are engaged in rescue.
